Orchard Valley Farm is a family-operated farm committed to growing and producing high quality local fruit with great customer service.
Five generations of Strathmeyer’s have made their name synonymous with providing the best Christmas trees in quality and service since 1936. In 2021, with longtime family friend Dave Hopkins, the family expanded their roots to the 98 acre, former Brown’s Orchard Pick-Your-Own Farm, home to 22 different apple varieties, including the Premier Honeycrisp. The farm includes PYO apples, strawberries, peaches, cherries, black raspberries, a pumpkin patch, and corn maze.

Ground Roots
Ground Roots was established in 2015 by the Strathmeyer family. It’s the product of learnings and opportunities in the agriculture industry since 1932. The business currently consists of two divisions – a Plant Materials business selling conifer and ornamental plants in cut and balled & burlap forms to retail and wholesale markets, and a Contract Services business providing subcontract labor to mostly agricultural-related companies.
